In case of a failure that causes a plex to fail, you can remove the plex from the mirrored aggregate, fix the problem, and then re-create it. You can also re-create the mirrored aggregate using a different set of disks or array LUNs, if the problem cannot be fixed.
- Destroy the failed plex by using the storage aggregate plex delete command.
The following command destroys plex0 from the mirrored aggregate: cluster1::> storage aggregate plex delete -aggregate aggr1 -plex plex0
- Convert the aggregate to a mirrored aggregate by using the storage aggregate mirror command.
The following command selects the disks and adds a plex to create mirrored aggregate aggr1: cluster1::> storage aggregate mirror -aggregate aggr1
