Upgrading to System Manager on Linux

You can upgrade to the latest version of System Manager through the command-line interface by using Red Hat Package Manager. After the upgrade, you can continue to manage the storage systems that you were managing with the earlier versions.

About this task

You can perform an in-place upgrade to System Manager 3.x from System Manager 2.x versions.

Step

  1. From the command-line interface, enter the following command: rpm -U download_file_name
