Unified Target Adapter 2 (UTA2) in NetApp collateral is referred to as Converged Network Adapter (CNA) in product documentation

NetApp uses the marketing term "UTA2" to refer to a new generation of network adapters that can be configured as either 10-Gb Ethernet and FCoE ports or as 16-Gb FC initiator or target ports. The Data ONTAP CLI and NetApp hardware and software documentation refer to these as "CNA ports".

These ports are available as the X1143A-R6 adapter and as onboard ports on the FAS80xx systems.
